• Kidderpore factory was also awarded the Prashansa Patra Award by the National Safety Council; The University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bengaluru has recognized your Company’s R&D Centre by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with your Company. The MOU will help in collaborating with the University in the frontier areas of agriculture. In addition, the ITC R&D Centre will be recognized as an Institution for conducting research for thesis requirements of the postgraduate and Ph.D degrees of UAS.
• Your Company has also taken up a project jointly with the Government of Madhya Pradesh under the Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) initiative, wherein both classroom and on-field training would be provided to farmers by experts from various areas of agriculture including lead farmers.; ‘Suraksha Puraskar Award’ from The National Safety Council, Mumbai - Kidderpore factory; During the year under review, your Company entered into a partnership with NABARD in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
